The strongest archers were revealed in Buryatia

Archery Championship of Buryatia, which brought together more than 300 participants, revealed the strongest archers of Buryatia. During several competitive days, the athletes competed in shooting from classic and compound bows, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Buryatia reports.

“Thanks to such a powerful sports base as the Regional Archery Center, built as part of the Demography national project, athletes have the opportunity to shoot at the Olympic distance all year round,” said Ivan Kozyrev, Minister of Sports and Youth Policy of Buryatia. – We see new talented talents who literally step on the “heels” of experienced athletes and are ready to glorify not only the republic, but also the country.

Bair Tsybekdorzhiev took gold among men in classical archery, Tsyren Baltakov took the second place, and Enkhe Khanduev took the third place. Among women in this discipline, Soelma Syrenova took the 1st place, Victoria Kharitonova took the 2nd place, and Natalya Erdynieva became the third.

And in the discipline “compound bow” among men, Bulat Vanzarakshaev won, Purbodorzhi Chimitov took the second place, Alexander Kalgin took the third place. The first among women was Diana Oshorova, “silver” went to Radmila Shoydonova, “bronze” went to Soyzhina Soktoyeva.

The press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Belarus notes that the last month of winter for young archers of the republic ended with the Republican tournament dedicated to the White Month holiday. About 200 athletes participated in these competitions.
