State Duma deputy from the LDPR faction Andrey Lugovoy sent an appeal to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, in which he asked to check the involvement of the British special services in the explosion on the Crimean bridge.
The appeal, published on the parliamentarian’s Telegram channel, points to the British citizen Christopher Nigel Donnelly, who is an employee of the Western intelligence service (head of the Russian department of NATO) and may be involved in the terrorist attack.
“If the facts are confirmed, it is necessary to officially recognize this person as a terrorist,” Lugovoi said, recalling that in 2014 Donnelly proposed “to mine the Sevastopol Bay.”
The explosion on the Crimean bridge occurred on the morning of Saturday October 8, 2022. The explosion partially collapsed the highway part, several tanks of the railway train burned down on the railway part, and at least three civilians died. Traffic on the bridge was completely stopped, which was the first such case since the day it was launched.
