Deputy Chepa: the West, not Zelensky, is responsible for negotiations on Ukraine
Western countries, not President Vladimir Zelensky, are responsible for conducting negotiations to resolve the conflict on the territory of Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by the deputy head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Alexey Chepa, in a conversation with “Lentoy.ru”.
The parliamentarian commented on the recent statement by Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, who said that there are dozens of plans to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
“In any case, other countries and other leaders are responsible for all these peace negotiations, not Zelensky,” the deputy said.
He emphasized that he was not aware of any secret plans, since no one had disclosed them, and also recalled that Kyiv at the legislative level prohibited negotiations with the Russian President.
