The State Duma raised excise taxes on cigarettes and vape liquids

Over the past year, the Russian authorities have increased the fiscal burden on a number of manufacturing industries amid a reduction in the presence of foreign companies in the country. From July 1, 2023, the country may have introduced excise tax on sweet drinks.
