Russian authorities are discussing the possibility of new measures regarding children’s access to the Internet, reports iz.ru.
Among the measures under consideration is a ban on anonymous registration of minors in social networks, as well as liability for cyberbullying up to criminal.
The reason for the discussion was the data obtained by the State University of Management that 72 percent of adolescents watch materials with scenes of violence and other unpleasant content on the Internet. It also turned out that 47 percent received offers to try alcohol or drugs, or earn money by spreading information about them. 28 percent were harassed and threatened.
