The State Duma has placed a tender on the public procurement portal to conduct a study on interethnic harmony in Russia in connection with the military operation in Ukraine and overcoming the socio-economic consequences of sanctions. This was reported by the RIA Novosti agency with reference to the public procurement portal.
In the terms of reference, the need for the study is explained by the fact that the Russian authorities are developing amendments to the National Policy Strategy “taking into account the new challenges to interethnic harmony” that have arisen in connection with the military operation in Ukraine and overcoming sanctions.
The study should develop recommendations for improving the legislative regulation of priority areas of state policy aimed at “preserving civil unity and interethnic harmony.” The initial price of the study is 5 million rubles. It must be completed by August 14th.
