With the start of military conscription in Russia, conscripts can receive two summonses at once – one on paper and the second in electronic form, said Andrei Kartapolov, head of the State Duma Defense Committee.
Earlier it was reported about a plan to test the procedure for sending electronic subpoenas in the spring.
As Kartapolov said in an interview with RIA Novosti, there is no reason to worry when receiving two summonses, and until the register of those liable for military service is fully operational, the “paper” summons will remain the main form of informing about conscription.
According to Kartapolov, it is with the “paper” summons that you should contact the military commissariat, although the content of both documents is identical.
