If a conscript receives an electronic summons while on leave, the military commissariat must be notified about this, Andrei Kartapolov, head of the State Duma Defense Committee, told RIA Novosti.
He noted that the conscript must notify the military registration and enlistment office that he cannot arrive on the summons, and also indicate the date of return. At the same time, Kartapolov said that it was unnecessary to interrupt the vacation.
“There’s no need to go and get upset, but you need to give notice, because otherwise there will be a lot of questions later,” he noted.
Earlier, Kartapolov said that during the upcoming spring conscription, two summonses could be received at once – paper and electronic.
