The profile committee of the Russian parliament is developing a bill to ban photography and video filming in school lessons. It is proposed to allow it for educational purposes, and with the permission of the school administration and the teacher himself. This was stated by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education Olga Kazakova.
The proposal to ban photography, according to the parliamentarian, “was born from the appeal of teachers.” They say that “we need to finish the lessons with video and photography, but we need to be engaged in training,” Kazakova noted during the committee meeting.
The participants of the meeting were given the text of the document – it is proposed to make it possible to take photos and videos with the permission of the administration or the director of the school.
