The State Duma called for preparing an anti-French Iskander

Russia needs to prepare an anti-French Iskander in response to the possible sending of troops by Paris to Ukraine. This opinion was expressed on Tuesday, March 19, by Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Oleg Morozov.

As Morozov wrote in the Telegram channel, if Paris really sends its military contingent to Ukraine, “we must prepare a personal anti-French Iskander. And let them meet.”

Meanwhile, the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, Sergei Naryshkin, said that according to incoming information, the French army is showing noticeable concern about the increased number of Frenchwho died in the Ukrainian theater of military operations – there have not been such losses abroad since the war in Algeria.

However, this does not prevent the discussion of the participation of the French military in the battles in Ukraine. Colonel Vincent Arbaretier suggested that the French military could be stationed along the Dnieper and along the border with Belarus. According to the military man, the deployment of troops along the Dnieper would show Russia the “red line”.
