The State Duma approved a plan for expert research in 2024

The State Duma has decided on a program of scientific and expert work in 2024. Applications for research topics are submitted by Duma factions and committees. Vedomosti has reviewed the document.

Next year, United Russia is interested in “improving the legal regulation of public-private partnerships in order to increase the availability and quality of medical care in the Russian Federation.” The second largest faction of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation needs recommendations on improving the legislative support for Russia’s technological sovereignty in leading sectors of industry and science, taking into account the experience of foreign countries.

“A Just Russia – For Truth” expects an analysis on the topic of improving the regulation of investment activities of the population of the Russian Federation in the field of implementation of industrial, infrastructure and other long-term projects. LDPR deputies requested a study of foreign experience in the legal regulation of volunteering in emergency situations.

The “New People” faction is interested in analyzing the system of secondary vocational education in Russia.

Committees of the lower house also requested expert assessments: in particular, the Committee on Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) is expecting a study on improving state policy on the integration of immigrants from post-Soviet countries into Russian society. The Tourism Committee, in turn, needs an analysis of foreign experience in developing the medical tourism market in the country.

The Committee on Physical Culture and Sports is looking forward to improving the legal regulation of mechanisms for protecting rights in the field of sports. The Health Protection Committee plans to consider an analysis to reduce the burden on health workers, in particular with document flow and reporting. The Committee for Protection of Competition is awaiting assessments on the regulation of the sphere of drug provision to the population.

The Ecology Committee is concerned with legislative support for the socio-economic development of the Baikal natural territory and the preservation of the Baikal ecosystem. The Committee on Agrarian Issues is interested in the situation on the grain market – they are waiting for recommendations on improving the regulation of the grain market to increase the profitability of activities and the profitability of producers.

An analysis of the impact of the fiscal burden on small and medium-sized businesses in the country is expected in the Committee on SMEand the Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services are going to evaluate the legal regulation of public-private partnerships in the creation of social facilities, including in projects for the integrated development of territories.
