The State Commission authorized the refueling and launch of the first space rocket, Angara-A5, from the Vostochny cosmodrome. This was reported on the Roscosmos website.

Launch of the Angara-A5 launch vehicle with the Orion upper stage and test payload from pad 1A scheduled for today, April 10, at 12:00 Moscow time. The launch broadcast will be available on the website and social networks of the Roscosmos State Corporation (YouTube, VKontakte) and will begin at 11:30 Moscow time.

Previously, the space launch of Angara A-5, which was supposed to take place on April 9, was canceled just a few minutes before the launch due to a failure of the pressurization system of the central block oxidizer tank.

The launch of the Angara-A5 rocket will open flight tests of the Amur space rocket complex, which includes Angara heavy-class launch vehicles. One of the key advantages of Angara-A5 is that it does not use toxic fuel components, unlike its predecessor, the Proton-M launch vehicle. This makes Angara safer for the environment and reduces potential risks during launches.
