The stars met with Bilan at the concert: unexpected duets formed

The temptation to party like in the old days now inevitably collides with doubts about the appropriateness of fun. But you can hardly blame pop stars for wanting to throw a party that will be remembered. Without such movements, artists mope and wither, and therefore they are ready to take risks and organize collective dances. Bilan took a chance and arranged. And the hall of many thousands filled to the brim did not seem a little.

Most likely, in the mass perception, Dima Bilan has not yet left the category of young artists, however, in the format of a solo concert, a career of more than twenty years long looks like something very impressive. The show of the pop star and the only true Eurovision hero in this country has thirty songs, and most of them are either famous or very famous. The hits that sound one after the other during the concert were written at different times using different technologies and are imprints of different musical fashions.

It is probably not so easy to combine them into one action, but such time travels are conducive to the most colorful performance. And the directors did not restrain themselves at all. There was also a staircase in the spirit of San Remo festivals with a technical filling that allows the scenery to make very frisky movements, and the most fashionable video art, a lively voice and modern arrangements that can easily kill all living things, naive flash mobs in the form of launching airplanes on stage and visual tricks that challenged the laws of gravity.

The show began with the newest single “Gladiator” (the video, which contained the entire Bilan biography, many have already called absolutely devoid of irony, but such a song is quite suitable for the beginning of the concert), and more than two hours later ended with an encore with “More Music”. Between them, international and local hits, dances, flights, sentiments, a saxophonist on the mezzanine and duets swept at a very solid speed.

Probably, Bilan could do without the ceremonial appearance of his colleagues on stage, but now it is almost a mandatory program. However, the obligatory turned out to be non-fatiguing. In addition, two of the three duets were somewhat unexpected. If the joint number “You’re Not My Couple” with Mari Crimebrery has already pretty much left its mark in the media space (however, its production with a table, breaking dishes and a small fire did not become less spectacular because of this), then the appearance on stage of Nikki Jamal sparkled, at least for those who are in the subject, an unexpected flashback from 2011. It was then that the singer as part of the duet Ell & Nikki brought victory to Azerbaijan at Eurovision. Now Nikki lives in London, is still passionate about music and made a difficult journey in terms of logistics in order to sing with her colleague at the European triumph “Hug Me” in Moscow.

Another surprise is the appearance on the stage of the singer Nikita. It seemed to many that after a surge of excitement at the beginning of the 2000s, the artist disappeared somewhere and was no longer engaged in music. This is not entirely true. After the hit “Fly Forever”, from which there was nowhere to escape at one time, the singer regularly released albums and collections, but no longer in the status of a trendy artist. Together with Bilan, Nikita performed the same super hit, or, as it is now commonly called, a banger, from the zero. There is a suspicion that this song will survive the reboot quite well.

Bilan endured a lot that evening. From notes and dances to jokes and antics, from the sentimental eighties and playful zero to the merciless musical fashion of the twenties. In the meantime, the audience could compete, who will dance whom. And the VIP boxes there did not lag behind the balcony …
