This year the race starts in Grozny on September 6 and finishes on September 16 in Maikop. The total length of the stages will be 1127 km. About 200 strongest riders from Russia and Belarus will take part in the competition.
The stages of the 31st multi-day cycling race “Friendship of the Peoples of the North Caucasus” will be held in North Ossetia, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic reported.
On September 8, at 10.30, the opening ceremony of the competition will begin at 20 Costa Ave., the area of the Wrestling Academy. The start of the first stage is scheduled for 11.00. The length of the route will be 101.8 km. The start of the second stage is scheduled for September 9 at 11.00.
