On Sunday, December 11, the press service of the government of the Murmansk region reported that the first slalom part of the All-Russian alpine skiing competition “Opening the season for the prizes of the Kola NPP” ended in Polyarnye Zori.
A set of awards was played in slalom among boys and girls aged 12 to 15 years.
According to the results of the competition, Yulia Melnikova became the silver medalist, and Maxim Berezkin received the bronze medal. Both athletes train at the Kirov Olympic Reserve Sports School, their mentors are Boris and Irina Anik.
The next stage of the competition was held in Kirovsk, where athletes fought for victory in the giant slalom discipline.
