In the largest private clinics it is impossible to vaccinate with the Sputnik V or Sputnik Light vaccines, the publication noted RBC. The websites of JSC “Medicine”, “Mother and Child”, “Invitro” and EMC contain information about the possibility of getting vaccinated with Sputnik V and Sputnik Light, but none of these clinics have the drugs in stock.
According to RBC, many clinics have refused to provide vaccination services against COVID-19. In some clinics they are vaccinated with the drug “Convasel”. EMC offered to vaccinate with the drug “Ultrix Quadri”. The clinic added that immunization protects not only against the flu, but also against strains of coronavirus.
Information about vaccination against COVID-19 is available on the websites of the clinics “Ekaterininskaya”, “Scandinavia”, “Medscan”, “Hadassah”, “Nearmedic” and “Policlinika.ru”. However, Poliklinika.ru reported that there are no drugs for coronavirus infection in the clinic.
At Ekaterininskaya they reported that they do not vaccinate against COVID-19. Scandinavia noted that there have been no vaccines against COVID-19 for more than six months. Nearmedic said that they stopped vaccinating when the demand for immunization fell, that is, about a year ago. Medscan recommended contacting the company’s partner, the Hadassah clinic, for vaccination. Hadassah reported that there are no drugs for COVID-19 in the clinic.
The Moscow Department of Health reported that some private clinics entered into contracts for the supply of COVID-19 vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic, but did not renew them after they expired. The department’s press service added that after the end of the pandemic, the demand for vaccination fell, and therefore the use of the resources of private clinics for immunizing the population became irrelevant.
At the end of September the Ministry of Health reported about exceeding epidemic levels of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections in 35 cities. In the Tula, Tyumen, Pskov, Saratov regions and Perm region authorities recommended to implement regime for using masks in clinics. Restrictive measures against COVID-19 also introduced at the Government House in Moscow. They began to operate on September 18.
