One of the largest sports facilities in the Totemsky district is considered to be a sports and recreation center in the village of Varnitsa. Locals of all ages play sports here. The institution also holds official competitions in several sports: strength disciplines, swimming and others.
The issue of repairing the sports facility was raised at a meeting between the head of the region, Georgy Filimonov, and local residents. It was decided to allocate 12 million rubles for major repairs of the building. Using additional funds, the sports complex will tidy up the roof, outer walls of the pool, basement and blind area of the entire building. The contract for repair work is planned to be concluded with the contractor during April.
