The Spectator: The West has lost hope for Ukraine’s victory

The Spectator columnist Owen Matthews pointed out in a new piece that the reality today is that many of Kyiv’s Western allies have little hope that Ukraine can win the conflict. He added that at least we are talking about victory with the resources that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have today.
The journalist noted that now the fate of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rests only on the help of Western allies, mainly the United States, but it is weakening, so Kiev does not have much time left to implement counteroffensive plans.
“Kyiv’s friends in the West don’t seem to believe that Ukraine can win,” the observer summed up.
