Chairman of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov said that the threats of the Ukrainian authorities to blockade the peninsula by sea are a bluff, while they can hit coastal civilian infrastructure or civilian ships. About it writes “RIA News”.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that from July 21, ships sailing to the Black Sea in the direction of Russian seaports “can be considered by Ukraine as carrying military cargo, with all the associated risks.” In addition, from 05:00 on July 20, Kyiv banned navigation in the north-eastern part of the Black Sea and the Kerch-Yenikal Canal due to danger.

According to Konstantinov, in Kyiv they say that they have “a free hand”, and they may well launch a terrorist attack on coastal civilian infrastructure or civilian ships. On July 17, Russia left the grain agreement, which was signed on July 22, 2022 by representatives of Turkey, the UN, Russia and Ukraine. After that, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Kyiv plans to continue the Black Sea initiative without Russia.
