The official representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov on Tuesday, November 28, said that the wife of the head of the department, Kirill Budanov, Marianna, actually suffered from poisoning.
According to Yusov, the information about the poisoning of Marianna Budanova, disseminated by the Ukrainian media, is true. The woman is undergoing treatment, which is already coming to an end.
At the same time, the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Valery Kondratyuk, stated that Budanova’s poisoning “was caused by arsenic and mercury.”
It is assumed that Marianna Budanova was poisoned through food. Allegedly, besides her, several more GUR employees were injured, but poisoning did not manifest themselves in them due to their strong physique. Clinical pharmacologist and military toxicologist Alexander Ediger noted that almost all heavy metals toxic to humans. They are blockers of many enzymes, the biggest impact is on the liver and kidneys.
Some media linked the poisoning of the wife of the head of the State Intelligence Directorate Kirill Budanov with corruption in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. According to the source, people could have been involved in the poisoning of Marianna Budanova companies affiliated with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
