The head of the press service of the Spartak football club, Dmitry Zelenov, did not comment on the information that the main scorer of the Moscow team, Alexander Sobolev, was suspended from classes in the general group before going to the Russian national team. Mr. Zelenov only indicated that the football player is now at the base and is participating in rehabilitation training.
Earlier today, October 18, journalist Ivan Karpov in his TelegramThe channel reported that Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal, after the tenth round match of the Russian Premier League with Krylya Sovetov, which took place on October 1, suspended Sobolev from training in the general group until he returns from the national team. The reason for the suspension, according to the journalist, was the player’s violation of discipline.
“We do not comment on measures taken by the coaching staff against anyone. Regarding Sobolev, he just returned from the national team today, is at the base and is participating in recovery training,” said the head of the Spartak press service (quoted by TASS).
Alexander Sobolev is 26 years old. He has been playing for Spartak since 2020. This season for Spartak (6th place), the footballer scored four goals in ten matches. In the match against the Krylia Sovetov team, Sobolev received a yellow card and was forced to miss the derby with CSKA.
