The Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft will depart for the International Space Station with Russian Oleg Novitsky, Belarusian Marina Vasilevskaya and American Tracy Dyson on March 21, reports “Roscosmos”. Marina Vasilevskaya will become the first woman in the history of independent Belarus to fly into space.

According to Roscosmos, the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket is scheduled for 16.21 Moscow time on March 21. The spacecraft will be launched from the 31st launch pad of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The spacecraft’s flight to the ISS will take 3 hours and 19 minutes. Already at 19:40 Moscow time, Soyuz MS-25 will dock with the Russian module Prichal.

Oleg Novitsky and Marina Vasilevskaya will spend 12 days on the ISS and return to Earth on the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft. This will be the fourth flight for Mr. Novitsky. In total, he spent 351 days and 23 hours on the ISS. During this time, he made three spacewalks. This will be Tracy Dyson’s third flight. She spent 189 days and 23 hours on the ISS and went into outer space three times.
