The Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Progress MS-21 cargo spacecraft was successfully installed on the launch pad at pad N 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. This was reported in Roskosmos.
After installing the rocket in a vertical position, the specialists began preparing it for launch.
Progress MS-21 will deliver about two and a half tons of cargo to the ISS. Among them – almost one and a half tons of materials and equipment, including – laying for scientific experiments at the station “Terminator”, “Correction”, “Neuroimmunity” and others. In addition, Progress will carry almost half a ton of drinking water, 41 kilograms of nitrogen and about 700 kilograms of fuel for refueling the station.
The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Progress MS-21 spacecraft is scheduled for three hours and twenty minutes on October 26.
