An explosive device planted in the car of political scientist Alexander Dugin, driven by his daughter Daria, was detonated remotely, reported “Lenta.ru” with reference to his source in law enforcement agencies.
“The initiator of the explosion was remote, they gave the command to blow it up, seeing that she was in the car,” the source said. According to him, the time of the command was chosen in such a way that other cars did not suffer.
Investigators are now reportedly examining video footage from the area where the car was blown up and near the festival site, where an IED could have been planted.
Earlier it was reported that a car driven by Daria Dugina was followed by people with anonymous phones – from the alleged mining site – the parking lot of the Zakharovo estate – to the explosion site. It is assumed that a call from one of the phones set off the IED, after which the devices disappeared from the network.
