The new system is designed to provide social support to participants in a special military operation.
This week, Chairman of the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) Sergei Chirkov and Chairman of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation Anna Tsivileva signed an agreement on information interaction. The most important element of cooperation between departments is the transfer of information that is required for personal support of participants in the military military service (as well as those demobilized from military and equivalent service).
To collect and update all the necessary data, the SFR has developed a new platform – the information system “Register of Northern Military District Veterans”. It was created specifically for the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. The register allows, through a personal account, to obtain information about each member of the SVO to determine their individual needs for one form or another of support.
Sergey Chirkov noted that as the registry develops and fills with information, the platform will be further developed and improved to become as useful as possible for providing social support to veterans of the Northern Military District.
“We will provide comprehensive assistance to the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.” Over the past six months, the Social Fund has done a lot of work to improve information systems in order to cover veterans with social support measures provided proactively and remotely, said the head of the Social Fund. Sergei Chirkov also said that the fund has created a corporate system to support mobilized employees of the SFR and their families.
Anna Tsivileva noted that assistance to the defenders of the Fatherland should be provided at all levels.
“It is very important to help not only those veterans and relatives of the deceased who, on their own initiative, turn to social coordinators, but also to work proactively so that everyone is covered by help and support. The registry will help us, without waiting for veterans to contact the fund, to reach them and their families and provide the necessary assistance,” Tsivileva commented.
