Hockey players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Seagull” continue to prepare for the new MHL. On August 15 and 16, young hockey players from Nizhny Novgorod played a series of friendly matches against Irbis Kazan and scored two confident victories with a total score of 8:4. On the first day, “The Seagull” won with a score of 5:2, and then ended the fight, winning with a difference of one puck.
On August 21, the best youth club in Russia will start playing at one of the most prestigious tournaments of the summer off-season in Russian hockey. The traditional Cup of the Governor of the Tula region starts. In Tula and Novomoskovsk, the best MHL clubs will play their last friendly matches before the official start of the season, scheduled for September 3rd.
At the Cup of the Governor of the Tula region, Chaika will play against Dynamo-Shinnik, Mikhailov Academy, Snow Leopards and SKA-1946. Matches will be held from 21 to 25 August.
