The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) prevented an attack on a camp for relatives of militants of the Islamic State Al-Hul organization banned in Russia. Kurdish forces ambushed a cell of jihadists who were planning to break into the institution. ISIS detonated a car with explosives, killing three jihadists, seized another deadly car with more than 300 kilograms of IEDs, and seized a large amount of weapons from the SDF at the scene.
Probably, the MTO tried to stage a large-scale terrorist attack in the Al-Hul camp in order to free some of the prisoners held in the institution.
