The sale of tickets for multimodal routes to Abkhazia has begun

On March 9, the sale of complex tickets to the resorts of Abkhazia began. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Railways.

Multimodal transportation to the resorts of Abkhazia (train + bus from Adler) and back will be carried out from April 30 to September 30.

Buses from Adler will deliver passengers to Gagra, Gudauta, New Athos, Pitsunda or Sukhum. Now, when buying a train ticket to Adler, a passenger can specify the end point of the journey and immediately purchase tickets not only for the train, but also for the bus. The same applies to the return route.

However, it should be borne in mind that you can buy a ticket for a multimodal route no later than 36 hours before the bus departure, you can carry no more than 30 kg of hand luggage for free, and animals will not be allowed on the bus.

You will have to pay 582 rubles for a bus ride on the Adler – Gagra route, a trip along the most expensive route, Adler – Sukhum, will cost 806 rubles.

By the way, buses also run through Sochi Airport, so theoretically air passengers will also be able to use them, but tickets will need to be purchased separately.

Meanwhile, according to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, Abkhazia is one of the most popular destinations for Russians for spring-summer holidays. So, already now the volume of bookings for the summer is 50-60% higher than last year. So those who want to relax in the summer at the resorts of Abkhazia should take care of booking a tour or a hotel right now.
