A third of Russian citizens have become less likely to purchase expensive goods over the past year
34% of Russian citizens have become less likely to purchase expensive goods over the past year. This is evidenced by the results of the VTsIOM study.
It turned out that Russians most often name cars and auto parts (56% of respondents), apartments, land plots, suburban real estate (42%), as well as household and electronic appliances (27%) as expensive goods. At the same time, the least likely to belong to this category were products (21%), antiques (8%), clothes and shoes (8%), furniture (6%), building materials (6%), aircraft, helicopters and yachts (4% ).
In addition, 34% of respondents said that they are less likely to make expensive purchases. Another 57% admitted that they did not change their own spending in any way, and 4% even began to purchase expensive goods more often.
In addition, the study showed that citizens of the Russian Federation often buy expensive things in regular stores (48%), and not on the Internet (16%).
