64% of Russians are afraid that their apartment could be damaged. The main threat, according to residents of the Russian Federation, is pets. This became known from surveyconducted by the organization “Renaissance Insurance” together with the online hypermarket “VseInstrumenty.ru”.
According to the survey results, 41% of Russians are wary of pets. They are followed by flooding of housing by neighbors – 39%, the probability of a fire – 33%, leaking pipes – 31% and the consequences of home feasts – 14%.
Another 8% of respondents are afraid of a household gas explosion, and the risk of a natural disaster or theft for Russians seems to be much less of a threat compared to pets – only 6%.
The most valuable items in apartments Russians consider household appliances – 35%, as well as sofas – 20%. Most of all, people are afraid that damage will be done to their refrigerator – 38%, TV – 32%, hob – 22%, computer – 21% and air conditioning – 16%.
43% of respondents admitted that at least once in their lives they damaged property in someone else’s apartment. With 25% of the inhabitants of Russia, this happens annually, with 11% – monthly.
