The head coach of the Uralochka volleyball team, Karpol, was replaced by his grandson
The Telegram channel of the women’s volleyball club “Uralochka” reported that the team’s head coach Nikolai Karpol left his post.
It is clarified that he was replaced by his grandson, Mikhail Karpol, who was previously the head coach of the Uralochka youth team, the senior coach of Uralochka-NTMK and the head coach of the Uralochka main team in the 2021/2022 season.
The club added that, together with the youth team of Uralochka, he became the champion of Russia in volleyball of the Youth League in 2014.
Let us recall that Nikolai Karpol has headed Uralochka since 1969. He is now 85 years old.
