The Russian Orienteering Championship took place in Murmansk. The competition took place in the Valley of Comfort and was transferred to the regional Ministry of Sports.

The competition took place from September 22 to 24 in three disciplines: cross-classic, cross-long and three-person relays. A total of 133 orienteers competed, of which 98 were Masters of Sports of Russia and champions of the World Games, six Honored Masters of Sports and two Masters of Sports of the country of international class.
