The upcoming friendly match of the Russian national football team against the team of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek on September 24 caused an unprecedented stir among local residents. The match is expected even by those who do not understand football, are not fond of it, go to the game for the sake of the atmosphere and support for the Kyrgyz national team.

The queues at the ticket office of the central stadium – 8-10 people each. Someone came after work, some – food deliveries – stand behind tickets in between orders, many women. Some came for a ticket as a gift to their husband, others are going to the game themselves. The atmosphere is good-natured: people in line remember previous matches, discuss football players.

The cheapest ticket for a match costs 350 soms (262 rubles). But on the day of the game, you will have to pay from 600 to 1000 soms (from 450 to 750 rubles) for a ticket. Tickets are sold out before our eyes: only the stands on the sides remain, the best seats have long been sold out. According to local residents, this does not upset them, they are going to support their team from any place in the stadium. And the girls in the queue are discussing that they won’t be surprised if they sit on their young men’s knees.

There were also those among the Kyrgyz people who would worry about the Russian team. Of the 10 people in line for tickets, four turned out to be Karpin’s team fans. The Russians also arrived in Bishkek. Several families with children. And, like everyone else, they stand at the box office for tickets.

Toward the end of the working day, the line at the cash desk grew noticeably – already 20-25 people. Mostly young people and pensioners. And even the clouds and the possible rain do not scare people, they are going to stand to the last until they buy tickets. Cashiers do not ask for any names and surnames and do not take photos.

But the poster of the Russian national team was not found near the stadium, there is a banner from the national team of Kyrgyzstan, and even that one is old. It seems that until the last moment they doubted whether the match would take place at all.
