The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 36 Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea and over the northwestern part of Crimea on the night of October 29, reported on the ministry’s Telegram channel.
Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed by air defense systems on duty.
Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of a drone in Crimea on October 18. Then air defense systems intercepted in the air missiles converted into a strike version for the S-200 anti-aircraft air defense system. Their fragments fell in a deserted area and detonated. There were no casualties or injuries.
During the night of October 18, Russian air defense systems destroyed 28 drones over the territory of the Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as over the Black Sea.
Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in Crimea, Belgorod, Kursk regions and some other regions. In addition, in these regions of Russia, the “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat is in effect indefinitely.
