The Russian Ministry of Defense announced a strike on one of the decision-making centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On the night of June 6, Russian troops attacked one of the decision-making centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), informs the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense in its daily report on the progress of the special operation.

“Tonight, the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a group strike with long-range precision air-launched weapons on one of the decision-making centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The designated object is hit. The goal of the strike has been achieved,” the message says.

The Ministry of Defense also said that in the Artemovsk area, the actions of the “Southern” group of troops repelled four attempts by the 5th mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the settlement of Kleshcheevka and the 77th airborne brigade in the area of ​​the settlement of Berkhovka DPR. “Bypassing and wedging into our enemy defenses is not allowed,” the defense department stressed.

Ministry of Defense statedthat the settlement of Berkhovka in the Artemovsk region is completely under the control of Russian troops. They stressed that reports about the alleged abandonment of this settlement by Russian troops are not true.

From the report of the defense department it follows that in the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops stopped the activities of four Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Ammunition depots of the 57th and 72nd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 108th territorial defense brigade were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Bogdanovka, Dobrovolye of the DPR and Shcherbaki of the Zaporozhye region.

In addition, two Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft in the areas of the settlements of Babino, Kherson region and Nikolskoye DPR, a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter in the area of ​​the settlement of Andreevka, DPR, and two Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters in the areas of settlements Novodarovka, Zaporozhye region and Vodyansk DPR. Russian forces also intercepted a Storm Shadow cruise missile, a HARM anti-radar missile, and 12 HIMARS and Uragan multiple rocket launchers.
