Defense One: The Russian Armed Forces began using Starlink systems in the Northern Military District zone
Russian military personnel began using Starlink satellite systems from American businessman Elon Musk in the special military operation (SVO) zone. About it reports publication Defense One, citing several Ukrainian sources.
It is noted that for the first time the use of Starlink by the Russian military was recorded several months ago.
“Ukrainian troops first discovered Russia’s use of satellite devices on the front lines several months ago. Use [Starlink ВС РФ]seems to be growing,” the publication says.
Ukrainian sources claim that this fact aggravates one of the problems of the Ukrainian troops – shell hunger. It is clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launches five times fewer shells than the Russian army.
