Rogozin: “Ghostbusters” have already received orders to capture the SCALP rocket
Military-technical advisers from the Tsarskie Wolves group and volunteers from the BARS detachments intend to “trophy” the French SCALP cruise missile in order to transfer it to specialists of the Russian military-industrial complex (OPK), Dmitry Rogozin, head of the Tsarskie Wolves, said.
France is reportedly going to supply Ukraine with 50 long-range SCALP missiles.
A similar Storm Shadow, as Rogozin recalled, was transferred to study the Russian defense industry. “Our Ghostbusters have already received such an order,” said Rogozin, referring to the French missile. “If she lands in our area of responsibility … we will pull her out, no matter what it costs us.”
Storm Shadow/SCALP is an air-launched cruise missile jointly developed by French Matra and British Aerospace. The price of one unit is about 2 million pounds. The range, according to The Drive, is 250 km, but there are modifications up to 560 km.
