YaNAO Governor Artyukhov announced his departure to the tundra for several days
The Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YaNAO) Dmitry Artyukhov decided to leave for the tundra for a few days. He announced this in his Telegram channel.
“It is necessary to recharge with the energy of nature, to touch the age-old wisdom of our indigenous peoples, to communicate with the elders in order to decide how else to improve the life of the northerners,” Artyukhov explained his departure.
He also noted that he went to the tundra together with a professional traveler and explorer Bogdan Bulychev. They plan to visit the large nomadic family of Venengo, who now stands in the foothills of the Polar Urals.
It is worth noting that last year Artyukhov also traveled to the tundra and stayed there for three days with the nomads.
