Russia will do everything to ensure that the topic of the situation in Ukraine is heard every day at the UN and other international organizations. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.

As the speaker of the Foreign Ministry emphasized, commenting on the statement of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that what is happening in the country may be forgotten, “it will be remembered for a very long time, and we will do everything to make sure that this is the case, because you need to know about criminals of this scale, we need to teach children.”

Moscow will try to ensure that the topic of Ukraine is heard every day in the meeting room of the UN Security Council and the General Assembly, specialized committees and commissions of the UN and other international organizations.

Meanwhile, Zelensky is trying to get approval and support for his actions from the world community, but haven’t achieved success yet. On the sidelines of the economic forum in Davos, there was also a call to focus on a diplomatic end to the conflict in Ukraine. Forum participants publicly and privately insist on a diplomatic end to the fighting.

However, Zelensky said that he would not sign a peace agreement if it included the idea that the territories of Donbass and Crimea will remain with Russia. The Ukrainian leader also accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of allegedly not wanting to make peace with Ukraine.
