According to the department, on September 25, drones attacked a unit of Arab Coalition forces on the Saudi-Yemeni border. Two Bahraini soldiers were killed and several others were injured. Responsibility was placed on the Houthi movement Ansar Allah. Representatives of the movement, in turn, accused coalition forces of bombing civilian targets in the border province of Saada.
“We call on the warring parties to show restraint and refrain from steps that are fraught with a dangerous escalation of tension in the Yemeni conflict zone,” the Foreign Ministry emphasized.
The Foreign Ministry emphasizes that it is possible to achieve stabilization of the situation in Yemen only through dialogue between all influential military-political forces. The Foreign Ministry also insists on the importance of continuing direct Saudi-Houthi contacts to overcome the crisis.
