“Almaz-Antey” created a tiltrotor drone “Nastasya” to relay the signal
The Obukhov Plant, part of the Almaz-Antey concern, has developed a new unmanned tiltrotor vehicle called Nastasya, capable of transmitting a signal over a distance of up to 100 kilometers, including special tasks, a representative of the plant told RIA Novosti.
An experimental prototype of this innovative drone was first presented at the National Exhibition and Forum of Civil Aviation Infrastructure NAIS-2024, held on February 6-7 at Crocus Expo.
“At the base, a prototype of the Nastasya unmanned tiltrotor was created, which is capable of vertically taking off and landing like a quadcopter, while being equipped with an aircraft wing to increase the speed and range of the flight. The main purpose of the Nastasya is to transmit a signal. The range of the UAV is 100 km,” said a plant representative. He added that the drone is capable of carrying up to 3 kg of various types of payload, and its maximum flight speed reaches 100 km/h. The device is equipped with five engines: four on the rods for vertical takeoff and landing, as well as one above the wing for cruising flight like an airplane.
A representative of the plant noted that all the electronics of the drone were produced in Russia. He also emphasized that at the moment the unmanned vehicle has successfully passed tests at specialized testing sites.
