Russian Emergency Situations Ministry pilots will deliver another 30 tons of humanitarian aid to residents of the Gaza Strip. Information about this was published in the official Teletram channel of the department.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that the humanitarian cargo includes food, baby food, personal hygiene products, mattresses and pillows. An Il-76 plane with humanitarian aid has already taken off from the Grozny airport to the Egyptian city of El-Arish. There, rescuers will hand over the cargo to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, who, in turn, will redirect it to the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that more than two hundred Russian citizens and representatives of their families were able to leave the Gaza Strip through the Rafah checkpoint. They were sent to Cairo, where the operational headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is located
Since November 5, two Russian Il-76 aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations have been on duty at the airport of the Egyptian capital to evacuate compatriots from Gaza.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that in total the department accepted 887 requests for evacuation from the Gaza Strip. To date, 288 people have been taken from the enclave.
