The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) today attempted an offensive in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions in three directions, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“Today, during the day, on the direct orders of Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrainian troops attempted an offensive in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions in three directions,” the message says.
The Russian forces, explained in the defense department, repelled the attack, causing significant damage to the enemy: the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 560 military personnel, 26 tanks, 23 infantry fighting vehicles, nine other armored vehicles and two Su-25 attack aircraft.
“Another attempt at offensive actions by the enemy failed miserably,” the Defense Ministry added.
Information about the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a number of areas appeared in the Ukrainian media and Telegram channels today. After that, the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, and the deputy head of the pro-Russian military-civilian administration (VGA) of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov refuted data on the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern direction.
