“In the Donetsk direction, the most active hostilities were carried out in the areas of the settlements of Avdiivka and Maryinka of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the Defense Ministry said. The department reported that two attacks by units of the 59th motorized infantry and 79th air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled in the direction of the settlements of Pervomaiskoye and the northern outskirts of Maryinka of the DPR.

The Ministry of Defense announced the defeat of the command and observation post of the battalion of the 68th Jaeger Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlement of Velikaya Novoselka of the DPR.
The radar station of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed near the village of Gai, Dnipropetrovsk region, the Defense Ministry added. The Ukrainian tactical missile “Tochka-U” was intercepted by means of air defense (air defense).
