The VIII stage of the Russian Cup in cross-country skiing will be held in the Murmansk region. The event will take place on Sunday, April 9, in Kirovsk at the Tirvas ski complex.
The start of this stage of the Russian Cup at 11:00 will be given by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin. Andrey Chibis, Governor of the Murmansk Region, will also speak at the opening ceremony of the competition. The event was announced on the official portal of the government of the Kola Arctic.
The stage closing ceremony will take place on April 9 at 15:00 on the central square in Kirovsk. It will also be carried out by the two officials mentioned above.
Residents and guests of the Murmansk region of different ages will participate in ski races. All participants have a chance to show their abilities and lead the Cup.
Earlier, MK in Murmansk said that the large-scale ski marathon Kandalaksha – Polyarnye Zori will pass in the Murmansk region.
