The head of the Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov, announced the preparation of a document in accordance with which it is proposed to train secondary school teachers in the system of secondary vocational education.
According to current standards, in a secondary school (from the 5th to the 9th grade) it is possible to teach only with a higher education, and the vocational education system is designed only for training specialists for elementary schools, Kravtsov said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Attention was drawn to the words of the Minister kommersant.ru. The Ministry of Education did not tell the publication about the details of the initiative.
