Russian forces hit the arsenal of missiles and ammunition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Chernihiv region, reported The Russian Ministry of Defense in its daily report.
“In the area of the settlement of Priluki, Chernihiv region, the arsenal of missile weapons and ammunition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit. In the area of the village of Serebryanka, Donetsk People’s Republic, the command and observation post of a unit of the 67th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit,” the message says.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops repelled five enemy attacks in the Kupyansk direction in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka and north of Timkovka, Kharkov region. In the Krasnolimansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces made two attempts to attack near Novoselovka and Grigorovka in the DPR, and in the South Donetsk direction – one attempt in the Marfopol area in the Zaporozhye region. One Ukrainian Armed Forces attack was also repelled in the Kherson direction.
Russian forces intercepted nine HIMARS missiles and shot down 43 Ukrainian drones in one day. In total, since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian side has lost 525 aircraft, 254 helicopters, 13,175 tanks and over 8,600 UAVs.
In its report for October 28 – November 3, the Russian Ministry of Defense earlier reported on the delivery of 15 group strikes with precision weapons and drones against Ukrainian Armed Forces’ weapons depots and temporary deployment points for Ukrainian military personnel. As a result, hangars preparing Ukrainian aircraft for flight, production sites for drones and unmanned boats, as well as groups of foreign mercenaries were destroyed.
Over the course of a week, 10 aircraft and one helicopter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed in the special operation zone. In addition, air defense systems intercepted four ATACMS missiles, three JDAM bombs, three HARM missiles and 51 HIMARS shells. A total of 274 Ukrainian drones were shot down.
On November 1, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were being defeated in the special operation zone, making unsuccessful attempts to attack Russian positions, despite the supply of NATO weapons. He noted that over the past month, the Russian army has shot down 37 aircraft and six ATACMS missiles.
