Russian military personnel destroyed six US-made M777 self-propelled artillery units in one day. Howitzers struck in the Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kupyansk and Kherson directions, reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense in its daily report on the progress of the special operation.
The Russian Armed Forces also destroyed four tanks, 15 infantry fighting vehicles, 22 vehicles and nine more howitzers of various types in different directions. Air defense systems shot down eight shells fired from HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
The number of drones destroyed per day was 19. The drones were shot down near populated areas in the LPR, DPR, Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions.
The total losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 24 hours exceeded 700 people killed and wounded, the Ministry of Defense added. The Russian military in the special operation zone repulsed 12 attacks by assault groups, inflicted fire defeat on 12 combat brigades, and also destroyed a reconnaissance and sabotage group.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warehouse, which stored more than 3,000 tons of ammunition. It was located in the area of the village of Kiselevka, Kherson region.
