The Russian armed forces destroyed the Ukrainian Su-27, the loss of which Ukraine will not be able to compensate. This was reported by Military Watch Magazine (MWM).
“Russian air defense shot down one of the most valuable Su-27 fighters of the Ukrainian Air Force, which are considered the most combat-ready aircraft in the country’s arsenal,” the publication says.
It is noted that the loss of the Ukrainian fighter follows numerous reports of losses of the MiG-29 fighter fleet in October last year. In addition, it is reported that during the period from October 13 to October 23, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed 17 Ukrainian Air Force aircraft.
