The Romanian Foreign Ministry announced the departure time of 40 Russian diplomats from Bucharest
Forty Russian diplomats and the same number of members of their families will leave Bucharest on Saturday, July 1, at 13.00. They will go home on a special flight of the Il-96 aircraft of the Rossiya airline. Thus, the requirement of the Romanian authorities to reduce the number of employees of the Russian embassy will be fulfilled. Details became known after the publication of a press release from the Romanian Foreign Ministry.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country said that the decision to reduce the staff of the Russian diplomatic mission shows the current level of bilateral relations against the backdrop of Russia’s NWO in Ukraine.
On June 8, the Russian Ambassador to Romania was informed about the reduction in the number of diplomats and staff. Then in Bucharest they reported a reduction in the number of Romanian diplomats in Moscow, similar to the number of Romanian diplomats. It was understood that the Russian embassy would cut staff by 21 diplomatic and 30 administrative and technical positions. But, since not all of them were busy at that time, it was decided to leave 11 diplomats and 29 support staff for their homeland.
This is not the first expulsion of Russian diplomats from Romania to their homeland. Since the beginning of the NWO, both countries have repeatedly resorted to such measures. In August 2022, 11 Russian diplomats were expelled from Bucharest.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has not yet commented on the current departure of the staff of the embassy in Romania to their homeland.
